The Cambridge O Level Islamiyat (2058) syllabus provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the history, teachings, and practices of Islam. It emphasizes the Qur’an, Hadith, and key historical events, while encouraging learners to appreciate Islam’s relevance in the lives of Muslims today. Students explore the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the guidance provided in the Qur’an and Hadith, and the development of the early Muslim community under the Rightly Guided Caliphs.
This course develops critical thinking, analytical skills, and moral awareness, while enabling learners to apply Islamic principles to contemporary issues. It also strengthens spiritual understanding and nurtures respect for Islamic heritage and values.
